I am pleased to welcome you to my website where you will find information about some of my writing projects. During my working career in the oil business, I wrote several technical manuals on oil well blowout prevention and technical reports on drilling mud. After retiring from ARCO Oil Company in 1994, I began writing as a hobby. I have since decided to publish some of my works.
Across the top of this page, you will see links to some of my work.
My current project is LIVE BY CHANCE, LOVE BY CHOICE, KILL BY PROFESSION. I'm currently working with my co-author, Gary Fowler (Pen Name: Melissa Bonaire) and we hope to have it published by the end of 2016.
My latest book, FIXIN' TO DIE RAG was published in October of 2014. It's a true account of helicopter pilots in Vietnam during 1970. Charlie Company of the First Cavalry Division's 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion was arbitrarily given the radio call sign, “North Flag.” As the brave fighting soldiers of C/229th faced danger in the sky and on the ground, they developed an espirit de corps; they became “North Flaggers.” Many books have been written about the Vietnam War; Fixin’ To Die Rag is the first book about the North Flag Boys. They were devastated with the loss of every man, be it from combat or resulting from helicopter crashes. Read more about FIXIN' TO DIE RAG by clicking on the links.
